This fall, Ethos Nantucket brings its coastal-inspired cuisine to Santa Barbara for a three-week residency at Tyler x Lieu Dit Wine Bar.
A natural meeting of minds, the collaboration unites Ethos’s seasonal, ingredient-driven cooking with Justin Willet’s thoughtful winemaking at Tyler and Lieu Dit. Together, we’re creating a limited-time experience that celebrates the best of both coasts — with plenty of good food, great wine, and a little fun along the way.
From November 5–22, 2025, join us Wednesday through Sunday for exclusive menus, special events, and a shared celebration of craftsmanship and community.

Welcome to Tyler x Lieu Dit, a tasting room and wine bar showcasing two distinct yet complementary brands, Tyler and Lieu Dit. Rooted in Santa Barbara County, winemaker Justin Willett crafts wines that reflect the region’s diversity, guided by a shared commitment to organically and sustainably farmed vineyards and a minimalist approach to winemaking. Classically styled yet modern in philosophy, these wines honor their origins with elegance, authenticity, and a deep connection to place.

Our kitchen shares this philosophy, drawing inspiration from European wine bars to create a thoughtful connection between food and wine. We highlight organically grown vegetables from local farms and carefully source the highest quality seasonal ingredients, crafting dishes that complement the wines and celebrate the harmony of wine and food.
